Guests are not allowed on the property without a member accompanying them!  Members are NOT to give out

the combination of the gate to anyone!  Members are responsible for their guests action.

*Gun Ranges are closed on the first Tuesday of every month  from      6:00pm -7:00pm for new Member orientation.

SHOOTING AT THE FOLLOWING IS PROHIBITED: 

  • Glass targets                        

  • Cans                                      

  • Rocks                                    

  • Clay Pigeons

  • Bowling Pins                        

  • Target Frames                       

  • Buildings                               

  • Aerial Targets

  • Tannerite     

  • Signs   

  • Crossbars

  • Anything that is not a target

Practice targets are set up or bring your own. Please take out everything that you bring in to the club property.

Range Rules

SHOTGUNS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PISTOL RANGE

  • All firearms that shoot rifle ammunition are to be used only on the rifle range.

  • Firearms used on the pistol range must have a barrel length of 14 inches or less.

  • Tannerite or other exploding target products are not allowed to be used on the range nor on the club properties.

  • Shooting purposefully at buildings, shooting directly at the target holder frames or any willful destruction of club property is considered vandalism and can result in criminal prosecution and loss of club membership. 

  • Remember to pick up after yourself when done shooting

  • Weapons should be discharged in designated shooting areas only.

  • Uncased guns will have actions open, magazines out, and muzzles pointed in a safe direction or down range while behind the firing line. Handguns can be closed and holstered if unloaded.

  • Load on the firing line only and keep guns pointed downrange and below the tops of the berms.

  • No one is to go downrange until all guns are unloaded and the line called "safe". No gun is to be handled while anyone is down range.

  • Only paper targets or metal silhouettes are allowed. All paper targets must be hung on target holders in front of the berms. Do not attach the targets directly to the target holder frames. These must be taken down when you are done shooting.

  • No vehicles are allowed on the range or firing lines except for range maintenance being performed by authorized personnel.

  • Members will accompany any guest they bring to the range at all times and be responsible for their actions.

  • Clean up before you leave.

    The brass containers provided on the range are for spent brass cases only. They are not to be used for shotgun hulls or as trash containers.

    The PPCC does not provide trash containers on the range, take all your trash home for disposal.

  • No live rounds should be left on the range nor should they be placed in brass containers. Take them home for proper disposal.

  • Shooting hours are from dawn to dusk.

  • Hearing and eye protection are strongly recommended.

  • Children under 18 must be under the control of a parent or guardian at all times, children are not allowed to wander about the grounds. No minors (under 18) may shoot without supervision.

  • Guests are not allowed on the property without a member accompanying them.

  • NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE RANGE. ANYONE USING ALCOHOL OR DRUGS, OR WHO IS UNDER THEIR INFLUENCE IS NOT ALLOWED TO SHOOT OR HANDLE ANY FIREARM.
